An evolution of the popular Generation Black rod series, the new
Daiwa TD Black Moocha 701HB Overhead Rod has taken
a leap forward in blank design and now features HVF Nanoplus blank.
The introduction of Nano resin to the unidirectional HVF graphite
fibre results in a lighter, more durable blank with maximum
graphite density. Braiding X technology further enhances rod
performance by increasing wall strength and reducing blank twist.
By eliminating twist and preventing the blank from losing its round
form, Braiding X allows a lighter, smaller diameter blank to be
made, and a lighter, more dynamic rod to be created.

Optimum casting and fighting performance are elevated thanks to the
TD Black’s Fuji Alconite K guides. Their lightweight construction
and tangle-free design are tailor-made for braided line, while the
TD Black’s neoprene grips and ergonomically designed reel seats
ensure ultimate angler comfort and in-hand balance and control.
