the Daiwa GW56HFD Grandwave Electric Bent Butt Rod
is a Dendoh style rod suitable for the deep dwelling monsters that
requires plenty of grunt. it takes a special rod to match a Daiwa
electric to extract a 60kg plus model from the depths. Featuring a
detachable butt, Fuji Alconite guides, swiveling AFTCO roller,
triangular grip and powerful carbon blank, this 60 – 150lb rod is
comfortable to fish with yet allows a ton of pressure to be exerted
from the other end.

The 56HFD model is rated for 60–150lb braided line, perfectly
matched to our Tanacom 1000, Tanacom Bull 500/1000 or Seaborg 1000
reels. Best suited to water up to 500 metres deep this is the ideal
model for heavy-duty reef fishing. The rod’s short detachable bent
butt also makes it perfect for trailer boat fishing or stand-up
fishing on the reefs.
