The Reel
The Daiwa Saltist SD 40H Star Drag Overhead Reel
looks stunning and is designed to handle whatever is thrown at it.
It’s made from machined aluminium and anodised in a sleek matte
black for maximum corrosion resistance. The true freespool of this
star drag system allows for longer casts under a variety of
conditions and uninhibited spool pay out is ideally suited for
fishing live bait. The 6.4 to 1 gear ratio is fast enough for
jigging yet powerful enough to put big fish on the deck.

Utilising Daiwa’s famous Digigear technology – the Saltist SD uses
larger gear for perfect gear meshing and ultra smooth performance.
Featuring stainless steel ball bearings for maximum corrosion

weight, yet loaded with all the power.

Fuji reel seats creates an immovable fusion between rod and reel

360-degree protection from bumps, hits and dings; reduces guide
draw, twist bend and weight resulting in a more responsive rod.
