The Reel
In a world of you get what you pay for, the Daiwa Exceler LT series
of reels gives you more design technology, performance and concept
than reels twice the price. The Carbon Light Material Housing of
the new Daiwa Exceler LT 2500 Spinning Reel is
designed with the LT concept of “light but tough,” in mind. The
carbon-based material is light yet very strong making the reel easy
to manage over the long haul. A machined aluminum handle is a
comfortable, strong connection to the main gear of the spinning
reel. The Air Rotor and Air Bail designs reduce the weight, yet
efficiently disperse the pressure of the line over the bail to the
whole part. The reel is extremely smooth utilising 5 ball bearings
and 1 roller bearing to maximise performance.

LT Concept
An evolution in design to suit the new generation of PE/Braid lines
for higher line and drag capacity, stronger gearing, improved
handling and increased performance.

Tough Digigear
New generation Tough Digigear is 50% stronger than previous
Digigear II thanks to increased diameter main gears combined with
an increase in individual gear teeth size.

Airspool ABS
The newly designed AL Airspool is up to 30% lighter than previous

At the very core of the TD Hyper is Daiwa’s HVF Nanoplus graphite,
the foundation for this impressive rod range. HVF combines precise
resin control with unidirectional graphite fibre to produce a blank
with maximum graphite density. By adding Nano resin with
unidirectional HVF graphite fiber we have produced a blank with
maximum graphite density. Light, responsive and crisp in action.

X45 Blank Technology
TD Hyper blank performance is further enhanced courtesy of X45
blank technologies Daiwa’s premier blank technology, X45, work
seamlessly to improve rod performance, and eliminate blank twist
and distortion to increase rod strength, function, and sensitivity.
By eliminating twist and preventing the blank from losing its round
form. X45 allows a lighter a small diameter blank to be made, and
lighter more dynamic rod to be created

Fuji Lightweight O-Ring Guides
Using Fuji’s lightweight O-Ring guides to keep the blanks action,
these guides provide superior casting, unlimited line flow and line
protection. By combining Fuji’s guide technology with Daiwa’s RR
(reduced resistance) guide design system, the guide placement and
