The Reel
In a world of you get what you pay for, the Daiwa Exceler LT series
of reels gives you more design technology, performance and concept
than reels twice the price. The Carbon Light Material Housing of
the new Daiwa Exceler LT 2500 Spinning Reel is
designed with the LT concept of “light but tough,” in mind. The
carbon-based material is light yet very strong making the reel easy
to manage over the long haul. A machined aluminum handle is a
comfortable, strong connection to the main gear of the spinning
reel. The Air Rotor and Air Bail designs reduce the weight, yet
efficiently disperse the pressure of the line over the bail to the
whole part. The reel is extremely smooth utilising 5 ball bearings
and 1 roller bearing to maximise performance.

LT Concept
An evolution in design to suit the new generation of PE/Braid lines
for higher line and drag capacity, stronger gearing, improved
handling and increased performance.

Tough Digigear
New generation Tough Digigear is 50% stronger than previous
Digigear II thanks to increased diameter main gears combined with
an increase in individual gear teeth size.

Airspool ABS
The newly designed AL Airspool is up to 30% lighter than previous
generations. The newly redesigned spool lip has improved overall
castability.

ATD
The ATD drag system is the best in the business. Reduced start-up
inertia protects delicate and thin lines from the aggressive
strikes of fish.

Air Bail
Featuring a hollow, tubular bail arm for maximum rigidity and
strength with minimum weight. The protrusion free design works to
eliminate line tangles during the retrieve.

Air Rotor
The innovative design and construction works to reduce weight,
stress and flexing, whilst enhancing transmission of vibration and
allowing the rotor to spin with perfect balance.

innovation, design and components the Laguna X delivers the
ultimate performance yet incredible value for money.

Carbon Design
The secret to Laguna X is Daiwa’s carbon design, compared to
conventional carbon material, the carbon fibres are laid
longitudinally with minimal resin use, then rolled at extremely
high temperatures and pressure to produce an exceptionally light
but super strong blank. By increasing the fibre quantity and
massively decreasing the resin quantity it has created increase
muscle in a slimmer profile blank, thus resulting in an even
stronger, leaner, lighter, sharper rod than ever before. It’s
incredibly fast and “tippy” but fold away under pressure in an even
arch to displace load through the whole blank for maximum fighting
power.

Braiding X
For extra power, Laguna X features Braiding X, this is a new design
that brings high-end technology and performance to rods that are
designed for beginners and occasional anglers. While looking modern
and stylish, it provides extra power and strength to the lower
section of the rod for extra fighting and casting power.

Components
Complimenting this great design is high quality stainless aluminium
oxide guides that deliver superb tangle free casting performance
and dissipate heat efficiently eliminating line wear. The
customized graphite reel seats feature custom manufactured alloy
componentry to compliment this practical reel seat. For ultimate
comfort and sensitivity Laguna X uses high quality EVA grips.
