To compliment this Daiwa’s reel engineers integrated the new Slow Cross Wrap Oscillation system, which evenly distributes the line in a more closely packed pattern up and down the spool. With a sturdy DS4 body housing Daiwa’s famous Digigear II drive system, which is digitally designed and manufactured to exacting tolerances, the Sensor Surf exhibits a smooth and strong winding impression. The surfcasting environment is remarkably harsh on reels, and in response to this Magsealed technology has been utilised within the DS4 body structure, this gives the Sensor Surf 45 exceptional resistance to the ingress of dust, water, and salt.

The Sensor Surf 45 is designed to give you perfect control over all aspects of the surfcasting experience. To this end a carbon ATD drag system has been integrated, achieving high drag capacity and smooth consistent drag pressures throughout the drag range. This is then coupled with a machined aluminium 85mm handle-arm and lightweight EVA knob for ultimate cranking power and control.
